If the registration of the Basic Package period is less than three months, but I can't find the Stock option then what to do?

If you can't find the stock option in Basic package:

  • Check if the stock option is turned on in the settings. If it's not enabled, turn it on.
  • Even after enabling it, if the stock option still doesn't appear, close the app and reopen it from the background.
  • If you still can't find the stock option, log out of the app and log back in using OTP (One-Time Password).

In HishabPati what tasks can a store manager perform?

The store manager will have access to the following tasks:

  • Access to add and edit all transactions (buy-sell).
  • Access to add and edit any expenses.
  • The manager will not have default access to delete or remove any transactions. However, the owner can grant access from settings if desired.
  • The manager can access all general reports without any restrictions by default (Except some selected reports*). The owner can enable or disable access to selected reports from the settings.

*The manager can never see some reports like- profit-loss, balance sheet, profit-loss by item or product, profit-loss by party.

If data is appearing differently on two different devices, what should you do?

Firstly, if you work in offline mode on one device, the data won't be transferred to another device unless you come back online.

When you switch to online mode, the data will sync, and then you'll be able to see the same data across all devices.

If the HishabPati app works in offline mode, will the data be backed up?

Certainly, if you work with the HishabPati app in offline mode on a device, all the data will be synchronized with the server when that device is online again.

This way, you can access the data from any device once you log in. Just make sure to come back online with the same device you used in offline mode.

Why discounts and VAT cannot be changed in the HishabPati app during transactions?

In the HishabPati app, you can specify discounts or VAT for products when adding them. These discounts or VAT are displayed during the transaction. To make changes, you would need to edit the respective product.

Does HishabPati have any physical office?

Yes, HishabPati has an office.

What is stock value in HishabPati?

In HishabPati, the stock value represents the total purchase value of your products. It's the total amount of money tied up in the products you have in stock.

The stock value is determined as follows:

  • When you add a product to HishabPati, the total amount (the cost value) for that product, which you enter while adding the product, is automatically added to the stock value.
  • When you make a purchase entry using the "Buy" option in the HishabPati app, the purchase amount for those products is also added to the stock value. In other words, the stock value accumulates with each purchase you make.
  • When you sell a product, the selling value is subtracted from the stock value.

This means that the total purchase value of your products minus the total sales value represents the stock value.

The stock value reflects the total value of the products you have in stock based on their cost values.

How to add parties on HishabPati?

To add parties in HishabPati, follow these steps:

  • Tap the party icon from the app's dashboard.
  • To add a party, tap the plus (+) icon.
  • Choose between "Supplier" and "Customer" based on your desired option.
  • You'll be presented with a form. Fill in the necessary information for your party, such as the party name, mobile number, any outstanding balance, and other required details.
  • Click the "Save" button.

You have successfully added a party! You can add multiple parties using these steps.

How to add products on HishabPati?

To add products in HishabPati, follow these steps:

  • Tap the product icon from the app's dashboard.
  • To add a product, tap the plus (+) icon.
  • Choose the "Product" option from the list of products and services.
  • You'll be presented with a form. Fill in the necessary information such as the product name, purchase price, selling price, existing stock, and any other relevant details.
  • Click the "Save" button.

You have successfully added a product! You can add multiple products using these steps.
