In HishabPati, the stock value represents the total purchase value of your products. It's the total amount of money tied up in the products you have in stock.
The stock value is determined as follows:
- When you add a product to HishabPati, the total amount (the cost value) for that product, which you enter while adding the product, is automatically added to the stock value.
- When you make a purchase entry using the "Buy" option in the HishabPati app, the purchase amount for those products is also added to the stock value. In other words, the stock value accumulates with each purchase you make.
- When you sell a product, the selling value is subtracted from the stock value.
This means that the total purchase value of your products minus the total sales value represents the stock value.
The stock value reflects the total value of the products you have in stock based on their cost values.
